Independent advice

Kevin Luckhurst, Partner, stresses: "We are independent and not tied to any one company. We go into the market and get the best available. We provide life assurance, pensions, we can arrange mortgages, school-fees and employee benefit packages.

People do not realise how difficult it is today to get really independent financial advice. Many Banks and Building Societies are tied to one provider. But if people come to an organisation like us they get really unbiased advice. And the Financial Services Act insists we give the best advise and, if challenged, we have to be able to prove that we have done just that."

Brian Luckhurst adds: "If a customer has a problem they have a personal contact to approach. They are not just a policy number as with most major financial companies. By being with an IFA, customers have someone to talk to. Much of our business is done on a personal basis. We are here to help. We consider our job is to protect our clients from the financial companies. The world of finance can be a bit of a maze."
